Resistant Wheat Starch

pexels-timmoor-6412593_edited.png

Resistant wheat starch is a versatile fibre ingredient that enhances the nutritional profile of food products while preserving their taste and texture. As a specialized form of wheat starch, it resists digestion in the small intestine and is instead fermented by beneficial gut bacteria in the large intestine as a dietary fibre.

With a neutral flavour, a bright white colour, and a dietary fibre content of over 90%, it is ideal for increasing dietary fibre and reducing digestible carbohydrates without affecting the flavour or appearance of finished products. Its low viscosity and smooth, non-gritty mouthfeel allow resistant wheat starch to blend easily into formulations.
